Tinker & Tot: Our Journey to Thoughtful Play

Hello, and welcome to Tinker & Tot!

We’re Katie and Beth, and we’re beyond excited to share the news of our brand-new venture. After six years of working together, countless conversations, and a shared dream, we’re finally ready to open our doors to the world. Tinker & Tot is a place where thoughtfully selected toys, books, and children’s furniture come together to nurture imagination, creativity, and play.

So, how did we get here?

Our journey began with a shared belief in the power of play. We both have two children each and have always loved finding products that spark joy and creativity in their little worlds. Over the years, we’ve seen first-hand how the right toy or piece of furniture can make a difference — whether it’s encouraging imaginative play or offering a safe, cosy space for learning and growing.

Life threw a curveball at us when we were both made redundant from our previous roles (you might remember us from Yes Bebe), and it was then that the idea for Tinker & Tot really started to take shape. Instead of seeing redundancy as a setback, we chose to see it as an opportunity to build something we’re both passionate about — a brand that’s not just about selling products, but about sharing the joy of childhood with others.

Our vision for Tinker & Tot is simple: We want to create a space where parents, grandparents, and caregivers can find products that are as thoughtful as the little ones they’re for. Whether it's a handcrafted wooden toy, a cosy nursery chair, or a book that sparks curiosity, everything we offer is carefully curated with care and creativity in mind.
