This website is operated by Tinker & Tot Ltd. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Tinker & Tot. By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”).
1. Placing an Order
By shopping with us, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and that all details provided are true and complete.
Contract Formation: Once you place an order, you will receive a confirmation email. This is an acknowledgement and does not constitute acceptance of your order. A contract is formed only when your goods are dispatched.
Availability: We strive to keep stock levels accurate. If an item is unavailable or there is a pricing error, we will contact you to resolve the issue or provide a full refund.
2. Payments & Financing
We offer secure payment methods to make your shopping experience seamless:
Credit & Debit Cards: We accept all major cards, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
Buy Now, Pay Later: We partner with external providers for flexible financing. By using these, you agree to their specific terms:
• Klarna: Pay in 30 days or split the cost into 3 interest-free instalments. Klarna Terms.
• Clearpay: Split your purchase into 4 instalments, payable every 2 weeks. Clearpay Terms.
• Shop Pay: Pay in 3 interest-free instalments for orders over £50.00. Shop Pay Terms.
Verification: All payments are subject to authorisation and fraud checks. If your payment is declined, your order will not be processed.
Security: All transactions are encrypted. We do not store your card details on our servers.
VAT: Prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
3. Offers & Promotions
We love treating our customers to special offers, but the following rules apply:
Exclusions: Some items may be excluded from offers, including items already on sale and most books,
Usage: Codes must be entered at checkout and apply only to new online orders placed during the promotion window. Only one code can be used per order; they cannot be combined.
Multi-buys: In offers such as "3-for-2", the least expensive item will be the free item.
Validation: We reserve the right to cancel orders where codes have been used incorrectly. Discount codes from third-party "coupon" websites are not our responsibility and may not be valid.
4. Shipping & Delivery
We aim to dispatch in-stock orders within 2 working days.
Standard Delivery: Usually 2–5 working days via Royal Mail or Evri.
International: Customers outside the UK are responsible for any local import duties, taxes, or customs fees.
Full delivery costs, including our free shipping threshold for orders over £25, are detailed on our Shipping Policy page and will be clearly displayed in the shopping cart before you complete your purchase.
5. Returns & Refunds
If you change your mind, please email hello@tinkerandtot.co.uk within 14 days of receipt.
Condition: Items must be returned unused, in original packaging, and with tags intact within 14 days of your return request.
Hygiene Exclusions: For safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on bedding, underwear, swimwear, or assembled furniture unless faulty.
Refund Calculations & Discounts:
• Your refund will reflect the actual value paid after the discount, minus original delivery charges.
• For part-returns in multi-buy promotions, the discount is split proportionately across items.
• If a return brings your total order value below a "minimum spend" threshold for a promotion, your refund will be adjusted to reflect the full price of the items you kept.
6. Giveaways & Competitions
By entering any giveaway hosted by Tinker & Tot, you agree to these terms:
Eligibility: Open to UK and Ireland residents aged 18+. Employees of Tinker & Tot, their families, and anyone professionally associated with the competition are ineligible. No purchase is necessary.
Participation: We are not responsible for lost or delayed entries. We reserve the right to cancel or amend giveaways due to unforeseen events.
The Prize: Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable for cash, and may be replaced with an item of equal value if necessary.
Winners: Winners will be contacted via email, social media DM, or any method stated in the giveaway within 14 days of the competition closing. If no response is received within 14 days, a new winner may be selected. Our decision is final.
Data & Publicity: By entering, you agree to your name being used in promotional material. Data is handled per UK protection laws.
Platform Disclaimer: Promotions are in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Facebook or Instagram and Meta.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this site (text, graphics, logos, images) is the property of Tinker & Tot Ltd and protected by copyright laws.
8. Limitation of Liability
Tinker & Tot Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our products or website. Our total liability is limited to the value of the goods ordered.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. If any part of our Terms is found to be unenforceable, it won’t affect the validity of the rest.
